ANTIBIOTICS
The collective name for a type of medication that is used to treat bacterial infections. Not even a hundred years ago, Alexander Fleming first discovered penicillin. Since the discovery of this fungus (yes, that is what penicillin is), the world doesn’t want to go without it. This is kind of a problem. If you use antibiotics too often, your body can become immune. Using antibiotics to combat a flu? That’s a viral infection, so it won’t work. Unfortunately, in many countries antibiotics would be prescribed to you anyway. Alas, antibiotics aren’t some fix-all miracle drug.
